 ITS BEEN A LONG LONG TIME!..sotty onekdin hoye gelo, due to my comic research, some laptop problems & in the search of a single job, onekdin amar nijer blog e kono post kora hoyni..really very sorry for that..I know there are many viewers, & m really sorry for disappointing them. Tobe Koushik Ray? who's he? Indrajal heroes der modhey koushik bole to keu pore na! Yes, that's true..koushik Roy is a detective(special agent) created by Narayan Debnath, ja Suktarar cover page e beroto..

Anybody can understand that I took a bit time in making this cover.1st of all, I wanted to use photoshop, which I couldn't get from anybody & the one I had, is lost in my another laptop! Its still not working..tarpor, onek din hoye gelo & later I decided to make the cover by paint! Hoping the readers will like it!

একটি  ক্ষমতার কথা লিখতে ভুলে গেছি, তাই পাঠকদের কাছে ক্ষমা চাইলাম।সেটি হলো কৌশিক মাঝে মধ্যে তার বিশেষ হাত দিয়ে লেসার-রে  চালাতে পারে! কৌশিকের এই গল্পটা আগেই দিতাম, কিন্তু ভেবে দেখলাম যে ব্লগে অনেকদিন কোনো ইন্দ্রজাল দেওয়া হয়নি। The last indrajal published in the blog was almost about a year  ago. A NEW BEGINING; GIVE THE "DEVIL" HIS "DUE"

Hello guys..its been almost 4 months since my last post..& the main reason for this absence is 1. My laptop has stopped working completely, for almost 2-3 months. & 2. i had an exam (staff selection commission combined graduate level) which was delayed from april 14th to may 19th. So, even after my scans were ready & cleaned, I could not post.. I was not going to post tonight, but posting for a special purpose..

as my laptop is not working, so m not able to give any comics in this post..still dont know when i'll b able to post a single comic as many of my scanned comics & other imp. documents are there in my laptop..the updates about my "comic research" will be posted here very soon..meanwhile, there is a good news for all bengali comic lovers

WE ARE GOING TO OPEN A MEGA BLOG FOR ALL BENGALI COMIC LOVERS..WHICH WILL INCLUDE ALL TYPES BENGALI COMICS LIKE BATUL, HANDA-BHONDA, KOUSHIK RAY, NISITH RAY, ROY OF THE ROVERS, & all kinds of bengali comics that was published in SUKTARA, ANANDAMELA, SANDESH & in other bengali magazines...just like our mega indrajal blog INDRAJAL ONLINE.

The blog's name is BENGALI TREASURE TROVE(BANGLA GUPTODHONER BHANDER).THE OFFICIAL OPENING OF THIS BLOG WILL BE SUNDAY 30TH JUNE WITH A SATYAJIT ROY CLASSIC. also a new Bengali blog COMIC FOREVER has started posting Bengali indrajal scans. So, the 2nd round of posting Bengali scans has already began(#2 - #37 already scanned/rescanned and posted) by INDRANATH BANERJEE..isn't the name sound familiar??yes, I had mentioned about him in COLLECTORS & THEIR COLLECTIONS topic, who has now only 7 indrajals left to complete his collection! He also has Suktara(bengali magazine) of last 43-45 years!! All the Bengali bloggers are invited to join our new blog(OPENED NOW!) . May be someday all the Bengali indrajal issues will be put together in a single blog. Since, the 2nd round of posting Bengali scans has already began, I would like to know from the visitors that how many books are needed to be rescanned? I remember a few, tobe sobkotar kotha visitors rai bolte parben. PLS MENTION THE NO. OF BENGALI ISSUES TO BE RESCANNED(few rescanned already by Indranath, leave a comment if further rescan or rescanning of any other issue is still required, either in this blog or in comic forever). Sorry to say, devil er scanguno k amra hoyto r dite parbo na, as his blog is not opening. I don't know what is the reason behind it. Probably devil has made the blog permissions "only who will be mailed can view the blog". Tobe eta korar karon bujhchi na, as far as I know devil, he always wanted to share. Jodi share e korte hoi, tahole why he blocked his blog? I've heard that devil's scans are now available in bangla torrents, where only a paid member can download scans. Heard of "free members" also, but I don't know exactly what is that. Devil, with all due respect, can you explain what is going on? Tumi scan/post na korte chao tomar byapar, kintu blog ta bondho korle keno? R bangla torrents keno bloggers der songe competition korche? Er mane bujhchi na. Jodi share e korte hoy, tahole e sober ortho ki?? I believe I will get a honest answer from you.

IJC#55 COMIC RESEARCH: UNPUBLISHED BENGALI COMICS

ABAR PHIRE ELAM..

 I know guys..its been more than 2 months, i've not posted a single ijc..sorry for that..though my old computer is "still working", but m having problems with the newer one(i.e. my laptop)! Anyway, last time I said that m doing a comic research which includes all kinds of bengali comics like phantom, mandrake, archie, henry, tintin etc. Well, in last 4-5 months, i've been doing this research..& thanks to this research, i came to know so many types of comics & their history, that i cant even count them..sotty, ae kota maase ami ja info peyechi ta niye ekta choto khato "comic history" lekha jetei paare..But, if i try to write history in my blog, it would b really very long..so ek-ekdin ek-ekta topic/sub niye discuss korbo..& let me tel u one more thing..i've started this research, kintu kobe sesh hobe jani na, as none of the comic researches are complete!!.. There are senior bloggers/collectors than me, just like our Mr. Hojo/mahasthobir etc, who can help in completing my research..

TODAY OUR RESEARCH TOPIC is : BAHADUR BERAL

BAHADUR BERAL: (the "Brave cat" in bengali)..of course, all the bengali comic lovers know him..created by the creator of famous Handa-bhonda n Batul, Narayan Debnath.

This funny "beral" does not have any special power.. But it has a great presence of mind by which it truly amazes people of every age, from a kid to an old man.1st published in 1983(১৩৯০ শুকতারা, source http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Narayan_Debnath)

Recently, Lalmati prakashan published "BEST of Bahadur Beral" in 2 vols..But both parts are missing some stories of Bahadur Beral..before this, Dev sahitya kutir had published "Bahadur Beral Samagra"..i dont have this book..till now, here's the unpublished comics of bahadur beral that i found in shuktara..

M sure that this is not all, so if any of u guys have the samagra book, then pls check this pages if the book has them..& also let me know if i miss any story/issue(that's not present in any of the books)

I've heard of duplications of Narayan Debnath's arts..& its a fact that even bahadur beral has also some duplications, dont know the original one..but comic readers eta dekhlei easily dhorte parben..dialouges might not b the same, but the pics & the story is almost same!!

2. THE LAST ISSUE- Published in which month?..the story?

3. Among this two duplication, which one is the original? were any more issue/stories duplicated?

Asking all the visitors & senior bloggers to look for ans. of this question..THE ANSWERS, if find out..will be updated in here & also in the wikipedia.

To be very honest, all of the bengali comics are missing some info..so, my research is yet to b completed.

as we all know, in bengali ijc 1-22, 101 & 102 were never published..but #22 was translated..yes, m talking about Ranjanda..the guy who had scanned #1 BENGALI FOR FIRST TIME EVER..& had translated #22 as "KALO MUKTAR KANTOHAAR"..

Ranjanda, tomar mone ache kina jani na..kintu tomar ae post ta dekhar por ami tomake eng 1-21 er "bengali title" suggest korechilam..though all of them didn't sound good..e.g.

Hoping sobar #1(22) er kotha mone ache..thik sei hisebei eta korlam..#8(15)

Though said "translated", its actually a remix version..like all old eng ijcs were used to be..this has the gold key version of the story & another b/w story that was published in ANANDAMELA, pujabarshiki ১৩৯৯।It also includes a special comic quiz published in আনন্দমেলা , 1988. This was separate from the original series ,that began in 03.03.1993(from the story THE FOURTH SON)-2003(story THE SHIPWRECKERS obdhi). THEN again, the series restarted from 2008 up to 2012.

Need to update: 1. In the page, it is written that the 1st series ran till 2004, but the list shows up to 2003! pls correct this info

2. Few stories are missing starting date, some are missing the end date.

3.What was the latest story?i mean after sepetember-october 2012, were any more stories published?
